"The apartment felt luxurious and was amazing. Great light, spacious, amazing view from the balcony, well equipped kitchen. the pictures don't really show the feeling once you enter through the main door. It was quite close to the beach which is also a really nice long sandy beach. The apartment had as well parasols, tennis equipment, balloons and practical things you need outdoors. The area is a quiet residential area and the neighbors were friendly. It has a small elevator that filled its purpose. There was always some empty parking slot which was nice as well. Taking the local busses to Cannes was really easy, just going down the hill to the main road. You could as well pay directly on the bus without having to install an app and so on. This was easy."

"The building is on top of a hill which makes the way home a bit troublesome for the elderly. I didn't mind the extra workout but I wouldn't recommend booking it when travelling with older people if you don't plan on renting a car. The pool is a bit far from the apartment, not right outside the building as we were expecting. It is shared among several buildings. Not a big deal just something worth knowing. There are no supermarkets on walking distance. The closest one is about 2km away in Cannes la Bocca. The host welcomed us and replied to our questions fairly quick by message. We were though not informed upon our arrival about the reception of the building and the role it played during our stay. What i mean by that is that any kind of practical issues regarding the apartment and the facilities around it were to be solved by the reception of the building during their working hours and not our host. We learned this the hard way once we were missing something. On our last day we managed to lock ourselves out of the apartment and it was a really stressful moment. We tried to contact the host with no success regarding a spare key to let us in. We got desperate since we didn't know what to do. We tried to contact the company that rents the apartment accessing My Bookings in their webpage but that led us nowhere. We came eventually up with the idea of contacting reception in case they had a spare key once the reception opened and we were able to enter the apartment again. The host replied with a sentence a long while after we tried to reach them by text and phone call pointing us in the reception direction. Who to actually contact in case of a problem or emergency should have been informed in the very first day. Otherwise as guests you assume it is your host you should be talking to which in this case was wrong."

"We found it difficult to locate key information such as where to put the rubbish & any information on fire escapes/routes etc. We were unaware of the timings for the pool until a kind & patient resident pointed it out for us. Other than that we had everything we needed."

"Sound proofing could have been better as you could hear a lot of noise from other apartments especially people walking above and there was construction work in the building which started early in the morning. Very difficult to have a lie in past 7.30am and sleep wasn’t always the easiest with the noise"

"Uitzonderlijk groot, schoon, luxe en goed uitgerust appartement in mooi complex in de heuvels van Cannes met gedeeld zwembad en uitzicht op zee. Appartement is ongeveer 10 minuten lopen van het strand. Winkels en het centrum van Cannes zijn iets verder weg. Appartement is groter en beter ingericht dan we op basis van de foto's hadden verwacht."
